Is it possible to give up on love?
To give up on the one thing you cherish more than anything
else in the world
To let it go and see if it returns back to you
To let anger and rage cloud your judgment
To let mistakes rule your life
To let shame steal away your joy
To let her slip from your fingers
To watch her fall out of your life
To see her beauty fade away right before your very eyes
Never to see her again
Never to hold her close
Never to see the glow light up in her eyes as the sunset strikes her face
Gone with the wind
Lost at sea
Never to return
To the hands of love
Is it
